I just got an email from Humyo that is an online storage provider and based in UK, it told me the company sold to an anti-virus, internet security company - Trend Micro. This is a good new for me because I always worry about if Humyo can keep their business. I saw so many online storage providers shot down their business without warning, I lost many digital data from this kind of companies. I personal think Humyo is a good online storage company, it offers 10GB web space for free, it lets you store all kinds of digital data, including videos, photos, documents, and other kinds of file. It also offers a media player that can direct play your photos and videos without leave website, it is very nice.
I do not know what Trend Micro want to do next step, but Humyo is still keeping business as it did before, no any changes. If you want to upgrade your free account to Premium account, you can get 50% off. With 100GB of online storage space and automatic backup of your files.
Update (11/13/2011): according to newest information, Trend Micro will merge the online storage service to SafeSync, Humyo will be shutdown finally. No free service anymore.
Humyo Is A Part Of Trend Micro
