AdvTor, An Advanced TOR Application

I think many people know about Tor that is a very good internet privacy application, it helps you to hide your real IP while you surf online. First, you can download Advanced TOR. This is a portable software, so you can run it anywhere.


After open this application, you can see this main window. For most users, you do not have to change anything.



If your ISP block Tor, you can setup bridge IP. You can type bridge IPs or click button to get bridge list.



If you want to force some applications to use Tor, you can use this option.



Click "Start Tor" button, it will connect Tor servers.



It shows you connection.



After it connected servers, it display "Connected to Tor network".

Last step is to setup proxy to socks 127.0.0.1: 9050 with your browser. Now you can start surf websites.




If you want to point special country or IP address, you can click "New identity" button, after open another window you can see a country list, choose one country and one server that you like.
